Amenities
The Little Rock Zoo is an outdoor attraction featuring more than 725 animals on over 33 acres of beautifully landscaped property. Guests can walk leisurely through the entire Zoo in about two to three hours or spend more time in one specific area. The Zoo is stroller friendly and ADA accessible.
Wagons and electric scooters are available for rent through the Zoo’s Safari Trader Gift Shop at the front entrance.
pARKING:
The Little Rock Zoo charges a parking fee of $2 per vehicle.
This fee is assessed at the front gate when you purchase your tickets.
Safari Trader Gift Shop:
The Safari Trader Gift Shop offers a unique selection of animal-themed toys and gifts for children and adults alike. Stop by during the Christmas holiday season for our annual sale!
Cafe Africa:
Looking for a refreshing break during your Zoo visit? Join us in Cafe Africa for a meal, a snack, or just to relax! Cafe Africa is located across from the Civitan Pavilion in the heart of the Little Rock Zoo. The Cafe features menu items such as hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hotdogs, fries, soda, ice cream, and other food items.
If you are traveling to the Zoo with a large group and would like to have box lunches available for your group at a certain time, please call (501)661-7218 to make reservations.
Please, no outside food.
Mosi's Snack Shack:
(PLEASE NOTE: Mosi's Snack Shack is only open on weekends in the spring and summer months)
Mosi's Snack Shack, located behind the Elephants, offers quick snacks and drinks.
Over-the-Jumps Carousel:
The Little Rock Zoo is the proud home of the Arkansas Carousel, Over-the-Jumps. This beautiful antique carousel is fully operational and available to ride when you visit the Zoo for $2 per person.
Train:
All aboard! The train is leaving the station for train rides every day at the Little Rock Zoo! Rides are only $2 per person and advance tokens may be purchased at the front gate upon entry.
PLEASE NOTE: The train does not operate in rainy weather.
Fish Feeding:
The Little Rock Zoo has several fish feeding stations located at the duck pond, siamang exhibit and lemur island. A handful of fish food may be purchased for 25 cents.
Please, do not feed the other animals with fish food!
Lorikeet Landing:
Lorikeet Landing is an all-new interactive exhibit where visitors can purchase a cup of lorikeet nectar for $2 and feed the nectar to our lorikeets. Lorikeets are friendly and playful and enjoy interacting with our guests.
Lorikeet Landing closed in the winter and late fall when temperatures are too cold for the birds.

There are several special events at the Little Rock Zoo throughout the year.

Educational Presentations:
The Zoo hosts regular educational presentations on the Civitan Amphitheater stage.
