Group Reservations

The Little Rock Zoo offers a group rate of $5.00 per person for groups with 15 or more paying individuals. Reservations are required to receive the group rate.

School groups, Church groups, Preschools, Scouting Troops and other groups are invited to take advantage of this excellent discount opportunity.

Groups must meet the following requirements:

      • Have a minimum of 15 paying individuals (ages 12 months or older)
      • Have a minimum of one adult chaperone for every 10 students
      • Make group reservations at least 10 days in advance

group information:

Group admission is $5 per visitor (includes students, teachers, parents and bus drivers).

Groups may pay with cash (no coins, please), VISA, MasterCard, Discover or school check.

A $2.00 parking fee will be assessed for guests/chaperones who drive their own vehicle.

All confirmed groups will receive an email or letter, confirming details of the visit.

Please print your confirmation letter and bring it with you. Review the instructions on the letter

Individual and family memberships are NOT accepted in place of the group admission rate.

Boxed Lunches for Groups:

Groups (minimum of 15 people) may purchase a boxed lunch for $4 per person with prior reservations. A 10 day advance notice is required. 
Choose from a Pizza Lunch: one (1) slice of pizza with chips, fruit roll-up and a drink OR  a Boxed Lunch: your choice of a ham, turkey, or peanut butter sandwich with chips, fruit roll-up and a drink. Lunches are designed primarily for school-aged children. 

If making your reservation over the phone, please let our representative know that you would also like to schedule a group lunch so you can be transfered to that department.  

If you are making your reservation online, please select "yes" to indicate that you would like a guest services representative to contact you to book a group lunch. 

Please ensure that your reservation is made at least 10 days prior to your arrival.

Reminder: no outside food or beverages (except bottled water) are allowed past the admission gates. There are a few picnic areas availalble outside zoo grounds. Please remind all Group Guests to get their hands stamped if they need to exit the zoo and return later.

Arrival:

    Groups should assign one leader who will greet Zoo staff upon arrival and who will have collected all of the group's admission and parking fees BEFORE arriving at the Zoo. (This includes money from all teachers, chaperones, bus drivers, children and any visiting parents entering with the group.)  A single payment per reservation is requested. We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, Cash (larger bills or pre-counted bundles, no loose change) or Check. The person presenting a check must have a valid AR photo ID or Driver's license with them.

    Please do NOT assemble your group in front of the ticket kiosk. A designated staging area for groups helps keep entrances clear and safe. Upon arrival please follow the instructions of Zoo staff. This will expedite your entry into the Zoo. Your group will be officially counted as you enter the Zoo. Everyone must enter at the same time.

Bus Parking:

Buses must park in the "Bus Parking Lot" between Zoo Drive and Monroe Street on the East side of the Zoo. Buses and Group Vans park FREE.  
There is a $2.00 per car parking fee for individual cars, due at time of admission. Individual cars may park in the MAIN Zoo Lot just across from the Zoo Entrance on the north of Zoo Drive.
