Hours & Admission

The Little Rock Zoo is open every day of the week except for Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

Hours of Operation:

9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Last Admission is at 4:00 p.m.

Our Front Gates will close at 4:00 pm. Guests who have entered may remain in the park until 5:00 pm.

** During Winter Hours animal viewing may be limited by bad weather or cold temperatures **

Admission Price:

Adults: $10.00
Seniors 60 and older:  $8.00
Children 12 and under:  $8.00*
* ONLY Children under 12 months of age are admitted free *

Parking

A $2 per vehicle parking fee will be assessed at the front entrance when you arrive at the Zoo.

Zoo members always park free!

CAFE AFRICA

 Currently OPEN every day from 9:30am - 4:00pm, grill closes 3:30pm  Cafe hours will vary according to weather and guest count. Please ask at the front gate.

Zoo Rides

The Zoo Train OPEN   Weekdays: 9:00am - 4:00pm  Weekends: 9:00am - 4:30pm  

The "Over the Jumps" Carousel OPEN  Thur/Fri 10:00am - 4:00pm (Hourly Rides)  Weekends 10:00am -4:30pm

The Train & Carousel operation may be affected by WEATHER or MECHANICAL DIFFICULTIES.

Purchase Ride Tokens at time of admission  TRAIN = 3 tokens ($3)  CAROUSEL = 2 tokens ($2)  age/height requirements apply

“Scooter Bug” electric scooters: $25 for all day rental, no deposit.

PLEASE NOTE:

Wheelchairs and Scooters require a Photo ID hold at time of rental (or credit card if a Photo ID is not available).  All rentals are rented on a first come, first served basis. A “use” waiver must be signed to use a Little Rock Zoo electric scooter or to use a private electric scooter on zoo property.

Single Strollers: $7/$8 each depending on style

A $5 deposit is required for all stroller and wagon rentals. 

You must return the scooter, stroller, or wagon by 4:30 p.m. to receive your deposit or ID back! Deposits are refunded when item is returned in clean, working order.

 Items may be rented in the Safari Trader Gift Shop after entering the Zoo until 3:30 pm.

PLEASE NOTE:

The Little Rock Zoo no longer allows outside food and beverages to cut down on the amount of litter in the Zoo and to keep our animals safe. Balloons, drink lids, and straws are also not allowed because they pose a choking hazard to our animals. Heelies, electric or pedal children's carts are also not allowed. Please leave Coolers & Lunch Packs in the car.Thank you for your compliance and understanding!
